I love God's Word. It's meant to be personal. Here I took Psalm 126 and made it into my own prayer.
My Psalm 126: 1 – 3
It would be a dream, too good to be true
To be a safe place where we could
Share our hopes & dreams, our despair,
Our wounded cowering self, our sin
And still be loved, respected, and valued.
There would be laughing, singing, we would be
The talk of the world,
“God is wonderful among them.”
We would agree,
“God is wonderful to us. We are one
One happy community, ever enlarging its borders.”Try this with your favorite Psalm and let me know how it turned out.
